FC/UPC Male to FC/APC Female Fiber Optic Attenuator manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is a component installed in a fiber optic transmission system that reduces the power in the optical signal. And it is often used to limit the optical power received by the photo detector to within the limits of the optical receiver. The attenuation range of such fiber attenuator can be any dB from 0dB to 30dB at 1dB increment. The attenuator type has but not limit to SC/UPC, SC/APC , FC/UPC, FC/APC, LC/UPC, LC/APC, ST/PC, MU fiber optic attenuators.
Fiber optic attenuators are mainly used in fiber optic to debug optical power performance & optical instrument calibration correction & fiber signal attenuation to ensure the optical power in a stable and desired leve in the link without any changes on its original transmission wave. Doped fiber is used inside to provide low wavelength sensitivity, high stability, high return loss and good reliability.
