4 Core FTTH Fiber Optic Patch Cord in Paper Spool with Small Wall Mount Box manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited has customized LC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/APC, LC/PC, FC/PC etc connectors with small termination box on one end, and the other end leaves open, without connector for splicing to fiber distribution box or racks. The length of the FTTH fiber optic patch cord can be 20m, 25m, 30m, 50m, 70m, 100m or other customized length. This FTTH cable has a round 3.0mm small jacket, just like regular simplex cable. Inside the jacket, it is high quality aramid yarn, surrounding 4 customized fiber with 600um transparent buffer tube. This cable uses enough aramid yarn and hardern LSZH jacket to protect fiber during installation. A preconfigured small wall mount termination box is on one end of this FTTH patch cord. This termation box can be easily installed on the wall or desk and provide fast and securied connection with end-user's current network.
Fibre to the home (FTTH) is the installation and use of optical fibre to provide high-speed broadband access to individual buildings such as businesses or single-family units (SFUs) which are freestanding residential buildings, or multidwelling units (MDUs) such as apartment buildings. Before deploying a FTTH network, providers must first decide whether to use a splice, which is a permanent joint, or a connector, which can be easily mated and un-mated by hand. This is for both ends of the drop cable – the distribution point and at the home’s optical network terminal (ONT) or network interface device (NID). Both splices and connectors are widely used at the distribution point. At the ONT/NID, either a field terminated connector or a spliced-on factory-terminated connector can be used.
